Safety first

Park before you tap.

ParkCrow can provide useful community context, but it cannot replace your attention, judgment, the street, or the law.

Never use ParkCrow while driving

Do not read, type, tap, report, message, adjust settings, or otherwise interact with ParkCrow while operating a vehicle. Pull over and park safely before using the app. A passenger may operate it only when doing so is safe and lawful.

Verify every location yourself

Parking spots and availability reports may be delayed, inaccurate, duplicated, restricted, unsafe, occupied, or no longer available. Before parking, personally inspect all signs, meters, curb markings, driveways, hydrants, loading zones, accessibility restrictions, temporary notices, street-cleaning rules, permit requirements, and current conditions.

Posted signs, applicable laws, official instructions, and conditions at the location always control over anything shown by ParkCrow.

Community reports are not guarantees

ParkCrow does not own, reserve, inspect, or guarantee parking spaces. A spot marker is only community-provided information about a possible opportunity. Other users may reach a location first, and conditions can change instantly.

Traffic-agent alerts are unofficial

Traffic-agent alerts are short-lived community observations. They may be wrong, outdated, or incomplete. ParkCrow is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NYPD, NYC Department of Transportation, any parking enforcement agency, or any government entity. Never use an alert to avoid lawful enforcement or justify illegal parking.

Use chat cautiously

Shared Spot Chat, private owner messages, and Agent Chat contain user-generated content. Do not arrange unsafe meetings, harass others, or share passwords, verification codes, financial credentials, home addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive information. Use available mute, block, and report controls when needed.

Location and device limitations

GPS, compass, Direction Beam, accuracy indicators, maps, and notifications may be delayed or incorrect because of buildings, weather, connectivity, device settings, permissions, battery conditions, or third-party service availability. An accuracy circle is an estimate, not a guarantee of your exact location.

Protect people and property

Do not stop suddenly, obstruct traffic, trespass, block driveways or accessible access, enter unsafe areas, or confront another person to add, claim, inspect, or discuss a spot. Respect private property and other road users.

Not an emergency service

ParkCrow is not designed for emergencies and is not monitored as an emergency channel. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. For non-emergency ParkCrow safety concerns, use in-app reporting or email support@parkcrow.com.
