Terms of Use

Rules for safely and responsibly using ParkCrow’s community-powered parking services.

Effective: August 8, 2026Last updated: August 8, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and ParkCrow LLC ("ParkCrow," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using ParkCrow, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Safety Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What ParkCrow provides

ParkCrow provides community-powered information and tools that may help users identify possible parking opportunities, share street context, communicate about active spots, and receive alerts. ParkCrow does not own, reserve, control, inspect, or guarantee any parking space. ParkCrow is not a government agency, parking authority, emergency service, or law-enforcement organization.

Posted signs, meters, curb markings, property boundaries, current conditions, and applicable laws always control. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and where to park.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or device unless prohibited by law.

Usernames may not impersonate others, mislead users, include an email address, or violate ParkCrow’s username rules. Certain brand-related names are reserved. ParkCrow may require verification or restrict account activity to protect the service.

4. Parking information and user responsibility

Spots and alerts are user-generated or derived from available service data and may be inaccurate, delayed, duplicated, restricted, unsafe, or no longer available. Conditions can change immediately. You must personally inspect the location, obey all laws and signs, avoid blocking access, and respect private property and accessibility spaces.

5. Community content

You retain responsibility for content you submit. By submitting content, you give ParkCrow a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, display, reproduce, and distribute it as necessary to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, dangerous, or privacy-invasive content.

6. Spot Chat, private messages, and Agent Chat

Shared Spot Chat and private owner messages are tied to an active spot. Users may mute notifications, report messages, or apply available chat controls. Ordinary spot conversations are temporary and follow the spot lifecycle; limited reported-message evidence may be retained for moderation. Traffic-agent alerts and related chat are community information only and are not official law-enforcement notices.

Never use chat while driving. Never request or share passwords, verification codes, financial credentials, precise home addresses, or other highly sensitive information through ParkCrow.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Read, type, report, message, or otherwise interact with ParkCrow while driving.
  • Submit false spots, alerts, reports, identities, or misleading availability information.
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, exploit, or endanger another person.
  • Evade limits, manipulate rankings, abuse guest access, or interfere with security controls.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or access the service without authorization.
  • Use ParkCrow to violate parking rules, trespass, obstruct traffic, or facilitate illegal conduct.
  • Upload malware or content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.

8. Moderation and enforcement

ParkCrow may investigate reports and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or take other reasonable action to protect users and the service. We are not required to monitor all content and cannot guarantee that objectionable or inaccurate content will be removed immediately.

9. Third-party services

ParkCrow relies on third-party services such as mapping, hosting, databases, email, notifications, device platforms, and app stores. Their availability and terms may affect ParkCrow. ParkCrow is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Availability and changes

Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or universally available service. Beta and testing features may be incomplete and should not be relied upon for critical decisions.

11. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARKCROW IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. PARKCROW DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SAFETY. COMMUNITY INFORMATION IS NOT VERIFIED OR GUARANTEED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARKCROW LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, PARKING CITATIONS, TOWING, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR RELIANCE ON COMMUNITY INFORMATION. RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED REMAIN UNAFFECTED.

13. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms as ParkCrow develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
